Howdy Doody Watch with Movable Eyes MIB

Made in 1954 by Patent Watch Co.  Howard Brenner in his book "Collecting Comic Character Clocks and Watches" states that the watch is scarce and that the box is rare.  The Smith House Toys 1998 Price Guide lists the item for $990.  This watch is mint and the box is near mint.  the only problem is the cellophane window is torn.  This is a great item and the box has great graphics in very vivid colors.  The watch does not run.
